It's kind of funny that I would even come across this, cause it wasn't really what I set out to do, but when I saw it, I decided I would tell you about my experiance. I have been using CyberDefender and it has an ID Theft function as part of it. It's a special toolbar that comes with it called MyIdentityDefender. The MyIdentityDefender allows you to rate sites as well as see how the site has been rated (from other users) as far as trustworthyness. I think MID is also availibl as just the toolbar too but I have the whole cyberdefender package. I have already actually hit a couple sites and got warnings. Later I found that they were part of some ID Theft scams. I think MyIdentityDefender is a great toolbar. Since I got cyberdefender I have not got any virus or malware issues.
This product is VERY POOR! It crashed my system, won't uninstall, deleted windows security files, etc. I called tech support 4x's and left detailed messages with numerous contact information and never received a response. I emailed them also and got the same support---none! They did want to up sell me a computer repair package though. I got scammed on this product so beware. The money for the suite was one thing, but having my computer down for 4 days and counting while I patch my OS pack together along with my network, which this has destroyed, is the most frustrating part. BEWARE
